Youth Classes and Formation

Faith Formation is a lifelong process. From the time we are born into the waters of new life until we are sanctified by God in heaven. Catechesis is an education in the faith of your children, young people and adults. Catechesis is on-going, not a one-year or two-year program but a life-long process of conversion in Christ. Find out more about our classes and formation programs for the youth of the parish.

The education of children in the Catholic faith is of very great importance.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that parents have the primary responsibility for educating their children in the Catholic faith, not schools or parishes.  Parents must first take initiative to begin forming their children in the moral and doctrinal teachings of the Church so that they may become virtuous and holy men and women.

In addition to our Religious Education Program, the parish has a wonderful Catholic School, Saint Christopher School, educating students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Youth Formation .

Please pray for Emily Murphy who has served the youth of our parish for three years and has now begun a new journey of sharing the Gospel with young Catholics in England. Emily and her parents and siblings are longtime parishioners at St. Christopher’s, and in her youth minster role Emily helped to initiate and foster youth group gatherings, retreats, social outings, and service opportunities for young people in the parish. We are deeply grateful for Emily’s time, talent, and treasure, and we hope that many fruits will be born through her work in England and beyond!
