Youth Classes and Formation

Youth Classes and Formation

Faith Formation is a lifelong process. From the time we are born into the waters of new life until we are sanctified by God in heaven. Catechesis is an education in the faith of your children, young people and adults. Catechesis is on-going, not a one-year or two-year program but a life-long process of conversion in Christ. Find out more about our classes and formation programs for the youth of the parish.

The education of children in the Catholic faith is of very great importance. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that parents have the primary responsibility for educating their children in the Catholic faith, not schools or parishes. Parents must first take initiative to begin forming their children in the moral and doctrinal teachings of the Church so that they may become virtuous and holy men and women.

In addition to our Religious Education Program, the parish is affiliated with a wonderful Catholic School, Saint Christopher Academy, educating students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8.
